Moby Dick Illustrated

There is a long tradition of artists imagining their own version of Herman Melville’s seminal work, Moby Dick. After six months of reading about the three year voyage of the doomed Pequod, I too was captured by the books imagination. If I were commissioned to illustrate the story, it would look something like this.
